Aloha Laser Vision is once again first in providing the most advanced vision correction technology to its patients. Our board-certified ophthalmologists, Alan Faulkner, MD and Neda Nikpoor, MD, have now performed many successful cataract and refractive lens exchange (RLE) surgeries using the RxSight™ Light Adjustable Lens (LAL). This revolutionary intraocular lens (IOL) is made of a patented photosensitive material that can be refined post-operatively to deliver customized vision correction and eliminate the need for secondary surgery. Adjustments are made to the lens via quick, painless, ultraviolet (UV) light treatments. These adjustments make it the most accurate intraocular lens in the world, which means excellent quality of vision for patients. Studies have revealed that patients who have received the RxSight™ Light Adjustable Lens are more likely to achieve 20/20 vision without the need for glasses, contacts, or additional laser correction.
